UPSC Admit Card 2020-Important instructions
➤ Carefully check the e-admit card and bring any discrepancies, if any, to the notice of UPSC immediately. ➤ Mention your name, roll number, registration ID and name, and year of examination in all correspondence with UPSC. ➤ Bring an e-entry card (print out) with the (original) photo identity card, the number of which is written in the re-entry card, in each session to secure admission to the examination hall. The e-Admission Card attachment must be maintained until the announcement of the final results of the Geo-Scientist (Main) Examination, 2020. ➤ You are responsible for the secure custody of the e-Admit Card and in the event of another person using this e-Admit Card, this responsibility rests with you to prove that you have not used any eRong service. ➤ Please note that the entrance to the exam venue will be closed 10 minutes before the scheduled start of the exam, i.e. 08:50 AM for the Foreign Session and 01:50 PM for the afternoon session. No candidate will be allowed to enter the examination venue after the admission is closed. ➤ Candidates are advised to visit their examination venue at least one day in advance and familiarize themselves with the introduction of the tour to avoid last-minute conflict in their interest. Candidates are advised to enter the examination venue in time for freezing. ➤ Candidates should note that they will not be allowed to be present at any examination venue other than the examination venue mentioned in the e-Admission Card. ➤ Please read the examination instructions available on the UPSC website https://upsc.gov.in and ‘Poster’ with instructions displayed outside the examination venue. ➤ Your subscription to the exam is temporary. ➤ Candidate may not use any mobile phone (even in switch off mode), pager, or any electronic devices or programmable device or storage media such as pen drive, smartwatch, or camera or Bluetooth devices or any other devices or related accessories either. Is in working or switch-off mode which is capable of being used as a communication device during the exam. Any violation of these instructions will result in disciplinary action including a ban on future examinations. ➤ The use of ordinary or simple wristwatch by the candidates is allowed inside the examination room/halls. However, the use of watches equipped with any special auxiliary devices that can be used as a communication device or smartwatch is strictly prohibited and candidates are not allowed to carry such watches in examination rooms/halls. ➤ Candidates will be allowed to use a scientific (non-programmable type) calculator. Loans or interchanging of calculators are not allowed in the examination hall. ➤ Candidates are advised not to bring any valuables/valuables and bags at the examination venue, as their safety cannot be guaranteed. The Commission shall not be liable for any loss incurred in this matter. ➤ Candidates who do not have clear photographs on the e-admit card, they have to submit a photo identity proof and two passport size photographs for appearing in the examination giving a guarantee for each session. ➤ Candidates should note that any error/mistake/discrepancy in filling in the details in the answer sheet/book will render the answer sheet/book responsible for rejection, especially regarding the roll number. ➤ Candidates who have selected their own authors may note that their own authors will be allowed to appear for the examination with a separate e-admission card only for such authors. An e-Admission Card for Scribe will be issued separately. ➤ It is mandatory for all candidates to wear mask/face cover. Candidates without mask/face cover will not be allowed to enter the venue. ➤ However, candidates will have to remove their masks for verification when required by the examiners. ➤ Candidate can take his hand sanitizer (small size) in a transparent bottle. ➤ Candidates to follow 19 standards of 'social distance' as well as 'personal hygiene' in examination halls/rooms as well as place space.
