IOCL Recruitment 2020 Education Qualification for this Post:
✤ Mechanical:
Three years (or two years through lateral entry after ITI of minimum one year duration/10+2) full time Diploma in any of the following disciplines of Engineering:
i) Mechanical Engineering
ii) Automobile Engineering
✤ Electrical:
Three years (or two years through lateral entry after ITI of minimum one year duration/10+2) full time Diploma in any of the following disciplines of Engineering:
i) Electrical Engineering
ii) Electrical & Electronics Engineering
✤ T & I:
Three years (or two years through lateral entry after ITI of minimum
one year duration/10+2) full time Diploma in any of the following
disciplines of Engineering from a Govt. recognized Institute:
i) Electronics & Communication Engineering
ii) Electronics & Telecommunication Engineering
iii) Electronics & Radio Communication Engineering
iv) Instrumentation & Control Engineering
v) Instrumentation & Process Control Engineering
vi) Electronics Engineering
✤ Human Resource:
Full Time Bachelors degree (Graduation) from a Govt. recognized institute/ University.
✤ Accounts/Finance:
Full Time Bachelors degree (Graduation) in Commerce from a Govt. recognized institute/University.
✤ Data Entry Operator:
Minimum 12 th pass (but below graduate)
✤ Domestic Data Entry Operator:
Minimum 12th pass (but below Graduate). Additionally, candidates should possess Skill Certificate of ‘Domestic Data Entry Operator’ for training of less than one year issued by an awarding body recognized under National Skill Qualifications Framework or any other authority recognized by the Central Govt.

IOCL Recruitment 2020 Salary:
✤ Rate of stipend payable to apprentices per month shall be as prescribed under Apprentices Act, 1961/1973 / Apprentices Rules 1992 (as amended) and Corporation’s guidelines.
IOCL Recruitment 2020 Selection Process:
☛ The selection process will include a Written Examination.
☛ Written test will be objective type multiple choice questions (MCQ) with 4 choices with one correct option. The candidate has to choose the correct option.
☛ The written test will have 100 questions and the total marks will be 100. Each correct answer will carry 1 mark.
☛ There will be no negative marking for incorrect answers.
☛ The constitution of the question paper will be as follows: -
a) For Technician Apprentice - Out of a total of 100 objective type questions, 75 questions will be from diploma level related discipline and about 25 questions on General Aptitude and Reasoning, General English, Numerical Aptitude and General Knowledge etc.
b) For Trade Apprentice (Accountant) - Out of total 100 objective type questions, about 75 questions will be from General Accounts / Commerce / Finance and about 25 questions.
General Ability and Reasoning, General English, Numerical Ability and General Knowledge etc.
C) For Trade Apprentice (Assistant-HR) - All 100 objective type questions will be on General Aptitude and Reasoning, General English, Numerical Aptitude and General Knowledge / Awareness etc.
d) For Data Entry Operator and Domestic Data Entry Operator - all 100 objective type questions will be at Class 12 level for General Aptitude and Reasoning, General English, Numerical Aptitude and General Knowledge / Awareness etc.
☛ The duration of the written examination will be 120 minutes i.e. two hours.
☛ Candidates can opt for question paper / examination in either English or Hindi language.
☛ The minimum qualifying marks in the written examination is 40%. 5% discount is given for trades reserved for SC / ST and PWD candidates.
☛ Obtaining minimum qualification marks in written examination does not confer any right or claim by the candidate for final selection, as per the number of posts, in relative performance.

☛ Final selection for Apprentice engagement will be based on marks in written examination as per merit. Business-wise and state-wise merit list for each region will be prepared on the basis of written examination marks written by the candidates, which will be arranged in descending order. Candidates will be offered apprenticeship in order of merit.
☛ In case of tie for final shortlisting for engagement, a candidate older in age will be given preference in the merit list.me, and venue for CBT and DV or any other additional activity as applicable shall be fixed by KRCL and shall be intimated to the eligible candidates. Requests for any modification in this regard shall not be entertained.

➤ Step 1: Before Applying, Candidates are advised to use the Notification carefully and make sure they are fulfilled All eligibility criteria their eligibility will be temporary and will only be verified if they are shortlisted for Choice.

➤ Step 4: Before applying for the above Apprentice posts, candidates must first get themselves registered in the online portal of the following agencies of the government. Of India:
(A) For Technician Apprentice: Under the Ministry of Human Resource Development in its portal National Apprenticeship Training Scheme (NATS) with the concerned Regional Board of Apprenticeship Training (BOAT). Link https://portal.mhrdnats.gov.in/boat/commonRedirect/registermenun.registermenunew.action.
(b) For Trade Apprentices (Alternative Trade): With National Skill Development Council (NSDC) at https://apprenticeshipindia.org/
After successful registration with the above agencies, a registration number will be generated and the candidate has to mention this registration number, in which to apply for trainee posts Indian Oil Pipeline Portal at https://plis.indianoilpipelines.in.
➤ Step 5: There are two stages for the registration process. Part-I and Part-II In Part-I registration, the candidate has to fill his basic details like name, category etc. and create his password. After successful
Part-I registration, system generated registration number is sent in its registered email ID / SMS. With this registration number, the candidate has to login to the system again with the password generated by him. Candidates are advised to remember the registration number and password for future reference / use.
➤ Step 6: In Part-II registration, the candidate will have to upload his scanned photograph and signature and submit and submit educational qualification, experience details etc. This is the final submission process and after that the candidate cannot change the furnished details. Therefore, candidates are advised to carefully present the details in the portal and check it before submitting the final.
➤ Step 7: Candidates are advised to follow the procedure mentioned in the Apprentice Engagement Portal. In case of any difficulty regarding filling online application or making online payment, please ask the FAQ / How to apply the options available in the portal.
