| Indian Army Recruitment 2020 Education Qualification for this Post |
- ⇛ Short Service commission:
- ➤ Candidates who have passed the requisite Engineering Degree course or are in the final year of the Engineering Degree course are eligible to apply. Candidates studying in the final year of Engineering degree course should be able to submit proof of passing by 01 Apr 2021 and produce the Engineering Degree Certificate within 12 weeks from the date of commencement of training at Officers Training Academy (OTA), Chennai, Tamil Nadu. Such candidates will be inducted on Additional Bond Basis for recovery of the cost of training at Officers Training Academy (OTA) as notified from time to time as well as stipend and pay & allowances paid, in case they fail to produce the requisite degree certificate.
- ⇛ Judge Advocate General:
- ➤ Minimum 55% aggregate marks in LLB
Degree (three years professional after graduation or five years after 10+2
examination). The candidates should be eligible for registration as an
advocate with Bar Council of India/State. Candidate should be from a
College/University recognized by Bar Council of India.

- ➤ Step 2: Indian Army Notification Out, Recruitment 2020 Candidate can apply online between 13-10-2020 to 11-11-2020.
- ➤ Step 3: Please check and collect all documents - eligibility, ID proof, address details, basic details.
- ➤ Step 4: Applications will only be accepted online on the website www.joinindianarmy.nic.in. Click on ‘Officer Entry Apply/Login’ and then click ‘Registration’ (Registrations not required if already registered on www.joinindianarmy.nic.in).
- ➤ Step 5: Fill the online registration form after reading the instructions carefully. After getting registered, click on ‘Apply Online’ under the Dashboard. A page ‘Officers Selection - ‘Eligibility’ will open. Then click ‘Apply’ shown against Short Service Commission JAG Entry Course. A page ‘Application Form’ will open.
- ➤ Step 6: Read the instructions carefully and click ‘Continue’ to fill in details as required under various segments. Personal information, Communication details, Education details, and details of previous SSB.
- ➤ Step 7: ‘Save & Continue’ each time before you go to the next segment. After filling in details on the last segment, you will move to a page ‘Summary of your information’ wherein you can check and edit the entries already made. Only after ascertaining the correctness of all your details, click on ‘Submit Now’.
- ➤ Step 8: Candidates must click on ‘Submit Now’ each time they open the application for editing any details. The candidates are required to take out two copies of their application having Roll Number, 30 minutes after the final closure of the online application on the last day.
- ➤ Step 9: Please review the preview and all the columns carefully before submitting the application form.
- ➤ Step 10: Take a printing out of the online application form.
