CBSE CTET Examination Detail:
The 14th edition of the Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET), which was to be held on 05-07-2020 (Sunday) in 112 cities across the country and postponed due to administrative reasons, will now be conducted on 31-01-2021 (SUNDAY). To maintain social distance and other security measures, the said examination will now be conducted in 135 cities.
The cities of the new examination are Lakhimpur, Nagaon, Begusarai, Gopalganj, Purnia, Rohtas, Saharsa, Saran, Bhilai / Durg, Bilaspur, Hazaribagh, Jamshedpur, Ludhiana, Ambedkarnagar, Bijnor, Bulandshahar, Deoria, Gonda, Mainpuri, Pratapgarh, Shahgarh. Sitapur and Udham Singh Nagar. A list of such identified cities is available on the CTET website www.ctet.nic.in. A large number of requests have been received from candidates To substitute an option for their exam city because they have changed their location due to COVID-19.
Keeping in view the difficulty faced by the candidates due to COVID-19, the Central Board of Secondary Education has decided to give candidates a one-time chance to improve their choice of the city from where they want to appear in the CTET exam.
Candidates who want to change their exam city can make an online correction from 07.11.2020 to 16.11.2020 from 11.59 AM. Every effort will be made to accommodate candidates in the cities they choose, but if the situation arises, they can be allocated to any city other than the four cities chosen by the candidates. All the registered candidates can visit the CTET website www.ctet.nic.in for any further information if any.
