DETAIL INFORMATION OF THE OF POST:-

Online applications are invited from Mailers Sportsmen for appointment as Postal Assistant / Sorting Assistant, Postman / Mail Guard and Multi-Tasking Staff as shown in Subsequent A, B and SIN Gujarat Postal Circle against the direct quota vacancies reserved for Sports Quota Recruitment. The detailed guidelines, conditions and instructions for direct recruitment are given below, which must be carefully read by the applicant, and he/she must satisfy himself/herself regarding the eligibility of the post and apply for the same. It will be assumed that all the terms and conditions of the guidelines are acceptable to the candidates who are applying for this post.

SALARY AND REMUNERATION:-

(A) Postal Assistant / Sorting Assistant:- Rs. 25000-81100 (Level 4 in Pay Matrix).

(B) Postman / Mail guard:- Rs. 21700-69100 (Level 3 in Pay Matrix).

(C) Multi-Tasking Staff:- Rs. 18000-56900 (Level 1 in Pay Matrix).

(D) Period of Probation:- Two years

ESSENTIAL EDUCATION QUALIFICATION & EXPERIENCE:-

(A) Postal Assistant / Sorting Assistant:- 12th pass from any recognized board and Computer Training Course

(B) Postman / Mail guard:- 12th pass from any recognized board and Knowledge Local language. The candidate should study the local language (Gujarati) at least 10th standard and Computer Training Course, and candidates should have two-wheeler or light motor vehicle license.

(C) Multi-Tasking Staff:- 10th pass from any recognized board and The candidate should study local language (Gujarati) at least 10th standard

SELECTION PROCEDURE:-

Meritorious Sports candidates will undoubtedly be selected for an appointment on the basis of the instructions within the Personnel and Training section. No.1515 / 1/76-EST. (D) The date 04.08.1980 is revised periodically.

First Preference:- Candidates who have represented the country INTERNATIONAL competition with the clearance of the Department of Youth Affairs and Sports.

Second Preference:- Candidates are representing State / Union Territories in the Senior or Junior Level National Championships organized by the National Sports Federation by the Department of Youth Affairs and Sports organized by the Indian Olympic Association and by the Indian Olympic Association and medalists or third place winners. Among the candidates participating in the Senior and Junior National Championships / Sports, the candidates participating in the Senior National Championships and winning medals are selected.

Third Preference:- Candidates who have represented a University in an Inter-University competition conducted by Association of Indian Universities /Inter-University Sports Board and have won medals or positions up to third place in finals

Fourth Preference:- Candidates are representing a state school in national sports/games for schools run by the All India School Games Federation and third place medals or designations.

Fifth Preference:- State / Union Candidates Prefer Candidates Awarded National Award in Physical Efficiency under National P'Hiscal Efficiency Drive Tertiary / University / State School Teams are always above IU (IV), but have not won a medal or position same order of Preference

The applicants shall have to pay for the Application Fee of Rs. 120/- (One Hundred Twenty Only) and the fees already paid will be valid for previously applied applicants.
